Karry is a chartered accountant and started her career as an auditor with KPMG, working with both commercial and higher education clients. Before her successful career with the NHS, she also worked for the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Karry lives in Walton with her husband and two young boys and enjoys rowing on the Thames when not running around after her children.

Karry says “I’m really excited to be joining The University of Roehampton and working with the senior leadership team. I look forward to leading the Finance team in what is such a challenging period both for the national economy and higher education sector. I have been inspired by the quality of the University’s education and research, its civic commitments to the local community and focus on widening access and the clarity of its long-term plan.”

Vice-Chancellor, Jean-Noël Ezingeard, says “The recruitment panel were greatly impressed by Karry throughout the process, and I am confident that her extensive experience, skills, and leadership will be invaluable to the University. I am very much looking forward to working with Karry and I know that she is looking forward to joining us and meeting you all.”

Alan Walter of Dixon Walter says “It was an absolute pleasure engaging with Karry throughout the process and we wish both her, and the institution, the very best of luck in this new chapter.”
