Enhancing your brief
Perhaps most importantly, we’ll work with you to develop your brief. Using our in-depth knowledge of candidates and the sector landscape, we’ll help you to set the bar higher and think creatively about what sort of talent will deliver the performance your organisation needs: not just for today but for tomorrow, too.
Searching from scratch
We never rely on ‘template’ search criteria, pools of past candidates, or little black books. Every search is bespoke, and each one begins with a blank piece of paper. We’re looking for the ideal candidate for your brief, not revisiting people who didn’t get the job on a prior campaign. Our searches are exhaustive – our research meticulous, our scope international, and this service includes our free campaign microsite.
Longlist & shortlist
Dixon Walter will shoulder the huge amount of work which goes into identifying and interviewing a longlist. From this, our goal is to deliver a shortlist which surprises you in the best possible ways. Rather than a roll-call of the obvious, we’re looking for candidates with the emerging skills our clients now need; high-flying talent from other sectors; the right balance of equality & diversity; and outstanding people otherwise thought unobtainable.
Recruitment advice & guidance
The emphasis is on recruitment consultancy, because we know that our experience, insights and added value can make all the difference to achieving a successful appointment. Wherever we feel it will help, we’ll offer advice, guidance and even constructive challenges. And if we feel a brief isn’t realistic, we’ll suggest a better way.
Monitoring, reporting & admin
We monitor every stage of each project, and will provide any feedback and metrics on request. We also take great care over paperwork and administration, ensuring that you and your candidates receive the right information at the right time and that nothing ever falls between the cracks.
Looking after your candidates
Particular care is taken over your candidates, right from the first encounter — not least because we understand that our relationship with them reflects on you. Find out why we’re different when it comes to candidate care.
Looking after your new recruit
Far from walking away at the moment an appointment is confirmed, we’ll remain in contact with your new recruit for a period of time. Having a third party to talk to can help individuals to express any concerns they may have during what can be a daunting transition process, and can help to cement them in their new roles.
