We are seeking an exceptional professional leader to become our new Director of Library and Learning Services.  Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) and as a key member of the University’s senior management team, you will be a key source of expert professional advice and provide strategic leadership of the service to support the teaching, learning and research success of our students and academics. We are at a point of transition as we seek to deliver change, reshape our service model and prioritise our strategic contribution in response to the needs of students and colleagues and the current challenges facing the higher education sector.

Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor the new Executive Director of Finance will work with and support the senior executive team of Roehampton, providing strategic financial direction, harnessing financial, resources and performance data to create and deliver the best financial conditions to ensure financial sustainability. In addition to continuing robust financial stewardship another key function will be to continue to develop future focused management information and modelling to support the long-term sustainability plan of the University.

We are seeking someone with significant strategic Property/Infrastructure experience that blends innovation, authentic leadership, and proven ability to deliver strategic transformation, all gained in a large and complex organisational context. In such a multi-layered, multi-faceted, and multi-stakeholder setting, key to your success will be your professional judgement, insight, and ability to influence strategic direction.

The Director of Estates & Facilities is responsible for the strategy, operations and compliance of the University’s complex and evolving estate. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and working closely with the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Registrar and the wider Executive Board, the Director will ensure our estate supports our vision and meets the needs of our three Faculties and all Professional Services areas.  The Director has responsibility for the built estate, including its development, maintenance, and security. They will work to improve space utilisation and make a significant contribution in delivering the University’s net zero carbon and wider sustainability objectives.

The Head of IT Operations and Deputy Director of IT will work with and deputise for the Director of IT in determining and delivering a technology strategy that meets the aspirations and objectives contained within the new University Strategy to 2030.

Reporting to and working closely with the CFO and the wider Finance Senior Leadership Team, you will contribute to the implementation of the University’s strategic plan through meeting the objectives and targets within the Finance Strategy and Service Plan. The Finance Director will translate the responsibilities, aims and objectives of the Financial Regulations and the Finance Strategy into clearly defined policies, procedures, budgets and forecasts in the areas of Financial Services, Strategic Finance, Financial Management and Reporting.
