The RNCM is delighted to announce the appointment of Brent Wills as Director of Estates and Facilities

A Chartered Surveyor, Brent has many years experience in senior leadership roles within estates and most recently has worked as Associate Director of Facilities – Maintenance and Compliance at The University of Manchester. In his new position at the RNCM, he will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational management for the RNCM’s estate and facilities, supporting the organisation’s overall strategy and providing services fitting of a world-class conservatoire.

Brent, who joins the RNCM in June, said: ‘I have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent at The University of Manchester and am very grateful to have worked with a great group of colleagues.  I am extremely pleased to be joining the RNCM in this role and am excited with the opportunity to influence the estate and facilities to support the organisation’s ambitious plans for the future.’

Professor Linda Merrick CBE, Principal, added: ‘It is a pleasure to welcome Brent to the RNCM as our new Director of Estates and Facilities. It is a very exciting time to be joining the institution, and I am looking forward to working with him to further to enhance our position as one of the most progressive conservatoires in the world.’

The James Hutton Institute is excited to announce the appointment of Anne Corbin as our new Chief Financial Officer.

Anne joins the Hutton from social care charity VSA, where she has worked since 2019, serving as CFO since 2021. A fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, she has 25 years of experience working in finance, and has led teams focusing on procurement, financial operations and a number of other corporate services. Anne’s main areas of focus are financial resilience, good governance, and social responsibility, and she plans to continue promoting these principles through her work at the Hutton.
