As the new Director of People, reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will ensure excellent and progressive HR practices and approaches in support of our institutional strategy, and the development and implementation of our current People Strategy, as well as supporting the shaping of a new People strategy. As the nominated deputy for the Chief People Officer, you will have primary responsibility for employee relations (via the Business Partner Team), the University’s Occupational Health service, talent acquisition and associated compliance activities.

As Executive Director you will act as the figurehead of the NIHR RDN and provide visible and expert leadership for research delivery staff across the health and care system in England. Employed by the University of Leeds, you will form part of the wider NIHR’s senior leadership team and NIHR Board, working closely with DHSC policy officials to implement government policy in priority areas through work highlighted in the 10 Year Health Plan and Life Sciences Sector Plan.
